GREAT 30-YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF BREEDING CAREER

Today is a deeply significant day for me, brimming with emotions and cherished memories. Exactly 30 years ago, on April 11, 1995, my first litter was born, marking the unexpected beginning of my journey as a breeder—a passion that would soon become the obsession of my life. When you’re driven by such eagerness, you feel like a hound on the trail: the excitement, the sleepless nights, the endless digging for information… and then, after all that anticipation, the moment arrives to witness the result—what new lives have come into existence!

My very first litter consisted of two black/tan puppies—a male and a female—born by my female Tsunami (Tornado Bronko x Seila) and Foster Diamant (Melwas-Muro v. Birkenhain x Yumona Diamant). The litter was registered at the esteemed “DIAMANT” kennel, led by the highly successful breeder of that era, Viktoria Kolesnichenko with an indication of my authorship as “DINAT” meant Ditko Natalia who I was in past ).

Tsunami was just a dog I had purchased from a friend, but I poured immense effort and time into her development. Our hard work paid off with a major victory at one of the earliest and most prestigious specialty shows in Kharkiv(Ukraine), judged by the renowned maestro E. Rozenberg. Following that show, and after long discussions with friends, my thoughts about breeding evolved into a concrete plan.

The owner of the female puppy, named IZIDA-DINAT-DIAMANT, was my friend Tatiana Evsukova, a devoted enthusiast and fan of the breed. Tatiana played a significant role in Izida’s career and later made it possible to produce a litter sired by Irinus de Ferignis. From that litter came the pride of our breeding program—MISTIKA de Vinko (owned by Valentina Tryasorukova). Mistika elevated us to the international stage, becoming a finalist at the IDC-DV-1999 in Germany, earning SG-III in the highly competitive junior black female class, just behind the incomparable Trefovaya Dama iz Slavnoi Stai…

The rest is a very long story—perhaps one day I’ll even dare to write about it in detail—but today, we’ll simply celebrate and reminisce
